I am a Duluth native and have friends and supporters all over the region; Esko, Hermantown, Proctor, Scanlon and the
townships. I was born and raised in Morgan Park during the heyday of the Steel and Cement Plants. I also watched
the day the stack came down on the Cement plant and all the jobs that dried up when the two plants closed.
* I have been married to my wife Jenny for 21 years and I am the proud father of two sons, Spencer and Reece. I love
the outdoors and especially the water. I will be a protector of sportmen's rights and families. I am currently
working with business, civic and labor leaders in the region to position this region for the coming economic boom that will
happen as a resurgence of mining takes place on the Iron Range and as the aviation industry in Duluth continues to grow and
create spinoff industries.
* The Minnesota Legislature has lost touch with this area. I intend to be
an unapologetic supporter and promoter of this region. Most importantly, when I am elected, I will represent you, the

I Think and Work like you do! My opponent has voted to send your tax dollars for education to Minneapolis.
Why are we subsidizing Minneapolis and who exactly is she supporting? This
region is poised for an extraordinary future but we need experienced and knowledgeable leadership to bridge the gap from here
to there. I have real world experience, unlike my opponent. I have been employed full time since the age
of 14...my opponent, well she was a teacher until 32 years ago and has been a career politician ever since...well except for
those years when she supposedly did both...think about that folks! My experience is
like yours, it is all real world, working, as you do, and I am fired up to fight for you, this region and
the State of Minnesota. We have a great future ahead but it will only happen with the right leadership and representation.
